I have directed four feature films,  written three more other optioned screenplays, directed over 60 hours of TV drama-documentary, and directed countless commercials and promos.

I have show-run a $20 million TV series,  and have director credits on over thirty shows and feature-length productions across scripted drama, comedy, docudrama and documentary on the major UK, US and international television channels and streamers. I have also directed a 360-VR show, and several award-winning shorts, commercials and promos.

I have been nominated for Grierson Awards and won Gold and Silver awards at the New York Film and TV festival. I have won dozens of Best Director and Best Production awards at festivals worldwide as well as winning the prestigious Promax Gold and D&AD awards for commercials directing.

Other work and experience

I grew up in the USA, Greece and London. ​ I began my career in Hollywood as a camera tech on major studio movies.

Was a qualified Film/TV lighting electrician and occasionally a stills photographer and assistant on Hollywood features and American and British TV dramas.

I have lived in London, Athens, Greece, Pittsburgh Pa, and Los Angeles, Ca.

I speak English, Greek and French and can make pleasantries in Italian, Spanish and Arabic.

Have camera operating broadcast credits and experience on 16mm film, and digital cameras.

Was a full-time Avid editor on commercials, promos, and programmes, freelance and at Pearson TV and in-house at Channel Five.

Oxford University joint honors degree in Philosophy and Psychology.
